What are the 5 ships? Relationship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Worship, and Stewardship.
We want to help build and encourage healthy relationships. Fellowship opportunities abound through whole church or small group activities. We accomplish discipleship through teaching and mentoring. We like to express worship in a passionate pursuit of Jesus.Stewardship is freedom from the mindset of poverty for His Kingdom’s sake.We believe that these 5-Ships will help bring us to maturity and fulfill God’s plan for our lives.
Relationship:
We are committed to seeing people develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and healthy relationships with each other.
Mt. 22:37-39 “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Fellowship:
Is the vehicle we use to build and maintain relationships through social and ministry opportunities. It is also a way to connect with other believers in our area and region.
1 John 1:3 “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”
Discipleship:
We are teaching and demonstrating the culture of the Kingdom of God.
Mt. 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Worship:
We believe worship is essential to a Kingdom lifestyle. The greatest act of worship is obedience. It is how we interact and develop an intimate relationship with God.
John 4:23 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
Stewardship:
Is the faithful management of your time, your talent, and your treasure. We want people to live abundantly, generously and debt free.
1 Cor. 4:1-2 “Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
