We believe many things
have been tragically neglected, ignored, and even rejected to
various degrees by the professing church since the end of the
first century. Divisions among Christians and confusion among
non-believers have been the result of these dilutions of the
gospel. We believe
God intends to radically
change the expression and understanding of how Christians live
out their faith and how un-believers interpret the meaning of
Christianity. The
Christian Church owes the non-Christian world an apology
for misrepresenting Jesus Christ. Grace International Church
(GIC) humbly offers this apology to doubters and non-believers
and yearns it may be different in the days ahead.
Beyond certain essential
doctrines there are many other very important teachings the
leadership of GIC embraces. We teach these doctrines confidently
and without apology. However, we do not make them points of
dividing us from co-Laborers who differ. We would hold to the
old maxim: "In essentials, unity, and in nonessentials, liberty,
and in all things charity."
